Le 21 avril 2016, disparaissait Prince, l’occasion pour moi de rendre hommage à ce surdoué multi-instrumentiste excellant notamment à la guitare, à la basse, à la batterie et aux claviers, célèbre surtout pour ses tubes de pop, de funk, de rock et de R&B contemporain comme Purple Rain
En mai 2003 il publie N.E.W.S.
L’album a été enregistré dans la maison d’édition de Prince (Prince’s Paisley Park Studios) le 6 février 2003 en seulement une journée et n’était initialement disponible que sur le site web Prince.
